On October 2, Mallig Plains Colleges, Inc. (MPCI) celebrated Teachers' Day 2026 at MPCI Gymnasium. Anchored on the theme "Honoring our Pillars: A legacy of Devotion and Service," the event gathered MPCI faculty, non-teaching staff, and retired educators from various schools across Mallig, Isabela, to recognize their enduring contributions to the academic community.

Masters of Ceremonies Mr. Christian Dave Aquino and Ms. Shenna Joyce Battung guided the day's program. The celebration featured a keynote address from Mr. Amir M. Aquino, Chief of Public Affairs and Spokesperson for the Office of the Regional Director, DepEd RO2, who delivered an inspirational message detailing the profound, generational impact of dedicated educators.

Student leaders representing the student body took the stage to deliver heartfelt tribute messages. The audience heard moving addresses from SPG President Ms. Jeiden Margarette Ampig, SSLG President Ms. Aiah Shane Matias, and SSC President Ms. Princess Lara O. Dela Cruz. Adding festive energy to the spoken tributes, attendees were treated to vibrant intermission numbers performed by the College of Teacher Education, the College of Business Administration, the College of Hospitality Management, and the MPCI Dancesport Team.

During the Conferring of Gifts of Appreciation, all teaching staff, non-teaching personnel, and visiting retired teachers were presented with special recognitions for their hard work. The program further elevated its honorees during the Decades of Service Roll Call and Conferring of Plaques, distributing additional rewards to all faculty and staff who had rendered ten or more years of service. The highlight of this segment was the distinct recognition of Dr. Imelda S. Quinia, the Head Registrar, who was celebrated for an exceptional 36 years of service and subsequently delivered a warm response on behalf of all the awardees.

The gathering concluded with closing remarks from JPIA President Ms. Germalou Herrera. As the faculty and guests departed the assembly, the shared sentiment of the student body remained clear: the legacy built by these devoted educators will continue to serve as the defining pillar of MPCI well into the future.
